Accessibility statement: Self Assessment Tools (June 2020)

This accessibility statement applies to [https://3rsselfassessment.nc3rs.org.uk].

This website is run by the NC3Rs [https://nc3rs.org.uk/]. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. That means you should be able to (with the assistance of browser extensions):

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen (the site is fully mobile responsive)
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet [https://mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk/] has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Downloads

This website predominantly uses Adobe's portable document format (PDF) for document downloads, but in some cases may elect to use other formats.

To view PDF documents, you will need to install Adobe's Reader software. This is simple to do, just visit: [http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/] and follow the download instructions. This software "plug-in" will enable you to view PDF documents available on both the UK Research and Innovation website, as well as from the internet as a whole. Certain browsers are also capable of viewing PDF files directly.

Reporting accessibility problems with this website

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, contact: enquiries@nc3rs.org.uk.
